Showcase Sunday #25 and Stacking the Shelves #2

Hello all!
I have decided to squish two memes together in one post
because they are a bit similar in their motive!
First off, I am posting for
Showcase Sunday!

and also I am posting for
Stacking the Shelves,
hosted by Tynga's Reviews!

The purpose of both of these memes is to show off your new books!
I also use this time to share/recap my posts for the week.
If anyone knows of a meme for recapping your week, please let me know!
Thanks.

This week two books I have dying for arrived from Barnes and Noble!

Cress (Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer

Cress Rapunzel’s tower is a satellite. She can’t let down her hair—or her guard.

In this third book in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.

Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker—unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.

Burn (Pure #3) by Julianna Baggott

Burn Inside the Dome, Patridge has taken his father's place as leader of the Pures. His struggle has led him here, intent upon bringing down the Dome from the inside, with the help of a secret resistance force. But things are not as simple from his new position of power and he finds himself tempted by his father's words: perhaps if the world is to survive it needs the Dome - and Partridge - to rule it...

As Partridge's resolve weakens, Pressia and Bradwell continue piecing together the clues left to them from the time before the Detonations. It is their hope that they will be able to heal the Wretches, and free them from their monstrous fusings and the Dome's oppression once and for all. But everything depends, too, on Partridge. Separated by distance and history, can they still trust their friend and ally? Or is the world doomed to an eternity of war and hardship?

I'm so excited!!
